My Etsy shop now selling digital items

I have decided to sell my postcard prints at full size in digital format, The reason for this is simple, people are getting very use to there computers and how to do graphics on them for their art work so waiting for snail mail to arrive with a postcard you want for a project is just wasting time, also its cheaper, do you know that most really good cards go for about 15 to 35 dollars apiece? This way for only 3 dollars people can get the postcard or other images right away, and no longer have to wait 3 to 5 days and if your like me have had items “lost” in transit.
I have so far sold a few digital items and am hoping to do more as it catches on, there are a lot of stunning images out there so I am hoping people like the idea of digital items.
On another note, our county fair is about to arrive and now it the time to enter items. I have decided to enter to pieces, my Gothic Valentine (posted below) and one I just finished called beautiful love.

Wish me luck,
Beautiful Love

Gothic Fairy Valentine

this is my newest piece of art. I was not feeling the love on Valentines day so decided I love the idea of love but didn’t want to feel bad for not having that certian someone to spend the day with. I made this peice then took one of my best friends out to lunch and we went shopping.. you can’t get any better than that!

Gothic Valentine

My first painting

here is my first acrylic painting, I added some glittery chipboard as well, I love the color blue and this paint is so very blue I just love it, I also used 3 different Lumiere paints for the sparkle on the inside of the flowers, If you have never used Lumiere its a great paint but if you spill it on your clothes it will  never come off!

my christmas gift to my daughter

my daughter and granddaughter making "O" face

my daughter and granddaughter making "O" face

I made this item on a canvas that was already painted with gesso. I used red and white paint to make a shade of pink I liked ( I don’t usually like pink!). Then added some scrapbook paper, an image of my daughter at 1 1/2 making a cute little face and on of her daughter making a somewhat same face. We call it “O” face and I have to say its very cute in person!

Then I added some lace and put that down with gel medium, a note on gel medium, I love this stuff. I holds just about anything and I have the gloss since I like my art to shine, it never disapoints! I added some stickers and 3d embelishments and letters and as a final touch I embossed gold glittery embossing powder to the outside of the peice.

I think it turned out rather well, I use to say I was not much of an artist but really I think we all have artist blood in us we just need to let it out and have fun with it.

I have a couple more ATCs to post later, I just made them for fun not for any swap or anything.

thanks for looking,

I am very new to expressing myself with art so any comments are welcome! Any new ideas too for that matter!
